Uses OCC (old corrugated containers) commonly called cardboard boxes.  We slush the fiber then begin the contaminant removal process.  2-4% of the supply materials is staples, tape and wire, glass, gravel or dirt, Styrofoam and plastic,

Once free of the non fiber material, the stock slurry is pumped to the paper machine at <1% fiber content.  A uniform sheet is formed that is then dewatered using 3 distinct stages:

1. Gravity, pressure pulses and vacuum
2. followed by pressing
3. and, finally, heated to evaporate water
until the sheet of paper is 7-8% water
(this exhausted water vapour plume is
seen at almost all paper mills.
